RECALL ALERT: Do not eat packaged diced bell pepper, vegetable kabobs, and creole and fajita mixed diced vegetables sold in BII-LO, Harveys, Winn-Dixie, Walmart, and Fresco y Más grocery stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi, under the Country Fresh, Marketside, and Southeastern Grocers SEG brands. These products, wrapped in clear plastic and stamped “BEST IF USED BY” between August 12, 2017, and August 20, 2017, could be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a germ causing a serious, sometimes fatal illness in young children, frail or elderly people, and those with chronic health conditions.
